Welcome!

Welcome to my new website!  I'm so happy to have a fresh new way to connect with you.

The site was designed by Stacey Irvin and most of the photographs are by Irene Young. It's been a total pleasure working with these talented artists. Everything is updated including a new photo page with images from the last three decades and a video page with videos from concerts, activism and studio sessions.

The merchandise page is easy to use and when you order downloads of most CDs you will now get the artwork included.

I had many events lined up including concerts, retreats, tours and a new recording project. But my life, like yours has changed dramatically since sheltering at home. I look forward to seeing you when we are able to meet in person once again.

In the meantime, I have moved my Monday night Sing & Awaken group online via Zoom. What was an intimate gathering of 30-50 folks in Berkeley has blossomed into a world-wide gathering of 230-300 people! I hope you will join us. To join, please send me your e-mail through the contact page and we will send you weekly links.

A few weeks ago, Jonathan Bloom, an NBC journalist, came to my house and filmed me from a ladder outside my window. His segment about Sing & Awaken on NBC News just went live. He did a beautiful job showing the power of music to help us connect and create resilience and calm in this challenging time.
